We are currently hiring for a Technical Writer
Hours are 7:00AM – 4:00PM (Monday – Friday)
  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays and overtime as required.
The purpose of this position is to gather and input accurate data for documentation of procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform observations on shop floor, gathering images and data to facilitate accurate documentation of processes.
  • Edit images for procedure instructions.
  • Assist data entry specialists in information input.
  • Work with data entry specialists to design applications for production data gathering.
  • Act as a liaison for production staff and development team.
  • Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:
  • 1-2 years equivalent job related experience
  • Mechanical concepts knowledge
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite Duties
  • Technical documentation experience
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to stand and move around shop floor for extended periods of time
  • High School Diploma or GED is required, comparable trade school or apprenticeship a plus
