We are currently hiring for an NDT Technician – 2nd shift.
Hours are 2:30PM – 1AM (Monday – Friday) (Optional 4 day shifts available)

• Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays and overtime as required.

The purpose of this position is to physical inspect parts using precision equipment to aid in the process and report results and findings to the appropriate department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely and accurately inspect parts by visually examining for defects and deformities, using precision measuring equipment to check tolerances according to OEM
• Record test results for the individual parts
• Move parts by operating overhead cranes, carts and lift trucks
• Reading technical drawings and schematics to disassemble and reassemble components based on parts and service manuals
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:

• 1-2 years mechanical experience or equivalent preferred
• Magnaflux testing, wet magnet and dry magnet testing and flux density testing experience a plus

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Demonstrate accuracy working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow established procedures/practices, interpret instructions/blueprints, etc.
• Aptitude in safe use of mechanical tools and precision measuring tools used to perform job duties
• High school diploma or GED required, comparable trade school or apprenticeship experience a plus
