Building Substitute at Braintree High School - through end of school year 2024 only

The Braintree Public Schools will employ substitute teachers, to the extent possible, who meet the requirements for teacher appointments and will assign teachers substitute-teaching positions on the basis of their areas of competence. The BHS building substitute will be expected on a daily basis to provide educational services, rather than to assume merely a student-supervisory role. The building substitute will be assigned responsibilities by the high school administration, based on the needs of the building, and will be provided with as much support as possible.

The building substitute is required to be DESE certified.
