BrainStorm Tutoring is Hiring a Special Needs Tutoring - Assistant Director of Specialized Academic Coaching Near Franklin, NJ

Brainstorm's Specialized Academic Coaching (SAC) is an educational solution designed for students with learning difficulties. By partnering with the student and incorporating BrainStorm’s core values of customization, enthusiasm, and relationship, the specialized academic coach empowers students with the strategies and skills necessary to conquer his or her unique challenges. 

The assistant director will assist with plans for program development and expansion of the SAC program. In this role the assistant director will receive all new leads, then match the potential client with the most appropriate SAC coach.

The assistant director will also provide coaching to SAC students. Coaching sessions with students will focus on study skills, time management, goal-setting, focus, confidence and much more.

This part-time position will be a total of 15-20 hours a week with a flexible schedule.

  • Master's Degree in Social Work or a human services field is preferred, including but not limited to, Special Education, or Counseling and Psychology
  • Special Education teaching experience
  • Child Study Team experience preferred
  • NJ Department of Education Certificate for a Learning Disability Teacher Consultant (LDTC) is a plus!
