One of our clients, a MANUFACTURER, is looking for a talented
Director of Sales – Home Goods
Permanent position with excellent compensation package and benefits.
Location: NYC

Leading manufacturer of Contemporary Sportswear. Located in New York City in the heart of the fashion district, with a distinguished reputation of providing women with styles of the latest trends is now expanding into Home Goods including blankets, pillows and sweater blankets.
The company’s brands are distributed to major retailers throughout the United States.
This new Home Goods division is a full-service manufacturing entity. Including; In-house CAD & Design Teams, Fabric Sourcing and Technical Development. Working with production partners in Hong Kong, along with our own state-of-the-art sample rooms in China, allows quick turns on all new development.
As Director of Sales and Marketing you will be responsible for the oversight of all marketing channels and initiatives. You will be responsible for selling “the brand” and ensuring that it is perfectly communicated across all messages, channels and platforms. As a champion of the companies brand you will be responsible for maximizing sales, implementing innovative strategies for customer acquisition and retention and developing the potential in current and new markets.
Responsibilities:
·Create, lead and oversee the development of strategic Sales initiatives in response to corporate objectives
·Supervise and manage the planning, development and production of all marketing materials
·Forecast revenue targets per channel, geographic area and all other relevant segments and suggest initiatives to exceed growth projections
·Create and deploy innovative customer acquisition campaigns to extend companies reach in targeted markets
·Encourage internal and cross-departmental communication
·Drive innovation by coming up with out of the box sales and marketing concepts that assert company as market leaders
Requirements:
·8 years of progressive experience in sales
·Creative thinker with a proven track record of innovation
·Strong sales/ brand building experience in a Home Goods environment
·A team player, with the ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and a strong track record of driving performance improvements across a team of direct reports
·Effective planner who is able to communicate and motivate teams for results
·Extensive use of analytical methods in strategic decision making
·Strong understanding of customer relationship management and segmentation
