You will work closely with our development and operations teams to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and improve deployment practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize GitHub Actions to create and optimize CI/CD pipelines for JavaScript/TypeScript applications, including custom workflows tailored to project requirements.
• Demonstrate expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages, modern features, and package management tools like npm and Yarn.
• Leverage React framework for building intuitive and responsive user interfaces, utilizing components, state management, and routing.
• Apply knowledge of Electron framework to develop cross-platform desktop applications, including packaging and distribution processes.
• Implement auto-update functionality in Electron apps using Electron-Builder and Electron-Updater.
• Utilize Google Cloud Platform services for application deployment, infrastructure management, and security best practices.
• Leverage Firebase services for backend development, user authentication, data storage, and serverless computing.
• Optimize build processes using tools like Webpack, Babel, or Parcel, and implement testing and debugging strategies for robust application development.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis CI, with a focus on automation and consistency.
• Demonstrate expertise in version control with Git, including branching strategies, workflows, and conflict resolution.
• Utilize Linux-based systems and command-line tools for automating tasks, managing servers, and deploying applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on JavaScript/TypeScript application development.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages and associated frameworks like React and Electron.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and platforms, version control systems, and cloud services (GitHub, GCP, Firebase).
• Solid grasp of Linux-based systems, command-line tools, and shell scripting for automation and deployment tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive attitude towards problem-solving, with a passion for continuous improvement and learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms (GCP), or related technologies.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices deployment patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices.
