Position Summary:

Transportation Coordinators are responsible for organizing transportation activities for a set portfolio of customers. Transportation Coordinators leverage various tools and technology to ensure customer orders are optimized, scheduled, picked-up, and delivered in accordance with service level targets. Transportation Coordinators communicate and collaborate with a variety of groups from different departments and across various business functions. Finally, Transportation Coordinators are problem solvers who are highly organized, pay close attention to detail, and show an aptitude to make decisions based on facts and circumstances.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Leverages various tools to execute transportation activities, factoring in cost, service, and customer requirements.
• Collaborates with customer service, warehouse, and carriers, to manage scheduled pickups and deliveries in accordance with service level targets.
• Utilizes multiple platforms (phone, chat, email, etc.) to resolve tracking issues.
• Maintains accurate records of relevant activities.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Transportation or logistics experience.
• Excellent communication skills, written verbal.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
