Bradshaw Funeral and Cremation Services is Hiring a Care Center Mortician Near Saint Paul, MN

Bradshaw Funeral and Cremation, the premier family-owned funeral home in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Minnesota area is hiring a Lead Care Center Mortician. We are a leading multi-location funeral home in the Upper Mid-West. If you are self-motivated and able to work independently and with a team, this may be the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Shared responsibility for care center operations, case oversite and flow, etc.
  • Active communication and teaming with funeral director and administrative staff regarding Care Center needs and case oversite to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure facility and equipment is maintained to highest standard according to OSHA / FTC / ADA / EPA and Funeral home guidelines
  • Ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Monitor security of Preparation Services department, money, documents, merchandise, and equipment
  • Ensure embalming activities are in compliance to prescribed company and professional procedures and burial standards within established timeframe, exhibiting the highest embalming, cosmetology, and restorative skill
  • Share responsibility for the transfer of deceased between residence/facilities to funeral homes following all prescribed safety, identification, transfer authorization procedures including all universal precaution standards
  • Ensure deceased is treated with complete respect at all times
  • Direct dressing, casketing, and any other preparation to highest standards
  • Maintain designated inventory, materials and supplies as required for excellent service
  • Be knowledgeable of all programs/services offered by the funeral home
  • Pledge that complete silence and confidentiality is maintained perpetually relative to any information, circumstances, or facts concerning any deceased or client family
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Must have met education and license requirements for Licensed Funeral Director and must possess valid Funeral Director License in the State of Minnesota
  • Must have minimum of 2-years previous Funeral Director/Embalmer experience
  • Must exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the company
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license is required with an insurable driving record
  • Must meet required Continued Educations Requirements as established by the State of Minnesota

The Care Center Mortician will be rewarded with a meaningful position and highly competitive compensation. The successful Care Center Mortician also has an opportunity to earn a discretionary quarterly bonus based on overall job performance and performance of your group.
