Responsibilities :

• Test setup : Read specifications from technical documents (test standards, customer SOWs, and test plans and procedures), identify and prepare test equipment
• Perform testing : Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data
• Data processing : After test completion, verify, review, and document all pertinent data, finalize the data and send it to the Program Manager
• Lab maintenance and post test breakdown : Physically remove test items, maintain the lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping instruments calibrated, and organizing the supplies

Requirements :

• Able to complete advanced technical and mechanical procedures, performs assignments that are not standardized or prescribed, regularly interacts with clients, troubleshoot, and rework complex tests
• Provide advanced interpretation and analysis of test results;be regularly called upon to provide input on test results
• Possess advanced knowledge of ballistics and mechanical principles, as well as comprehensive knowledge of all potential aspects of safety
• Able to use all standard and complex Ballistics equipment;able to accurately capture necessary data;good understanding AC / DC circuits

Minimum experience :

4-5 years of mechanical and military ballistics training

Base salary, $60 - $65K
