Duties:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Assist with filing and organizing paperwork
- Provide basic information to clients regarding pet grooming and dog training services
- Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care
- Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office Suite
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners
Note: This position does not involve direct involvement in pet grooming or dog training. However, knowledge of these services is beneficial for providing basic information to clients.
