This is a position for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to work with a FQCHC in the Internal Medicine Department focusing on Infectious Disease health issues. The providers work with all departments to meet clinical and social services needs for your patients.

Your primary care panel will have a focus caring for patients with HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and latent TB in addition to the usual primary care mix.

The Nurse Practitioners responsibilities will include:

• Provide continuity of chronic care management
• Conduct well visits, sick visits, hospital follow-ups,
• Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic findings, medical plans and treatment follow-up
• Managing complex medical issues within the scope of internal medicine and family medicine practices
• Help educate your patients and family

Qualifications

• 3 Years’ experience as a practitioner strongly preferred
• Comfortable supporting LGBTQIA population
• Comfortable working with individuals with substance use disorders.
• Spanish or Portuguese skills a

Licenses/ Certification

• Current and unrestricted Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License
• Active DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
• Board Certification: Family Medicine (AANP or ANCC)
• Current BLS/CPR Certification
• AAHIVM Certification (must obtain within 18 months of hire

Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
