Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, dedicated, highly motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Surgeon during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients
- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available
- Take dental x-rays and imaging - Prepare patients for treatment and assist the doctor
- Provide patient education on post-operative care
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Perform basic administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and managing patient records - Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations. -Available to travel between Greeneville and Morristown

Skills:
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques, including chairside assisting, instrument passing, and suctioning
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and materials
- Familiarity with medical documentation and recordkeeping
- Ability to perform vital signs assessment on patients
- Competent in taking dental x-rays, imaging and maintaining radiographic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients

Qualifications: - Equivalent to high school diploma or GED - Registered Dental Assistant license - Radiology license - CPR certification - Experience preferred, not required
