Assistant Gardener Primary Responsibilities :

• Assist our Horticulturist with maintaining all ornamental plant materials at the Club.
• Assist with potting, planting and ornamental arrangements.
• Trim and prune all hedges, shrubbery and other related plant material.
• Maintain plants and gardens by weeding, removal of rubbish or litter, watering (including weekends), and mulching.
• Apply fertilizers, chemicals and any other medicares to plant material to insure proper health.
• Assist with inventory control; storage, movement and usage.
• Supply Clubhouse with ornamental arrangements as needed for Holidays, special events or for the simple enjoyment of brightening the space or mood of the club.
• Willing and able to assist in other areas if called upon by Superintendents.
• Assist Grounds Crew with tasks related to maintenance of golf course.
• Assist in shop projects with other managers.
• Ability to work independently and within a team structure.

Position & Schedule :

Seasonal, Part-Time Non-Exempt, Entry-Level position. Schedule is flexible ensuring that necessary work is completed each week throughout the golf season.
