SENIOR ANALYST/ MANAGER FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS (HYBRID)POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Financial Analyst/Manager in the Financial Planning & Analysis group plays in integral role in preparing, validating and analyzing local and corporate management reporting and supporting various annual and quarterly financial planning activities (e.g., budgeting, and forecasting). In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst/Manager primarily provides direct business partnering support to BDI Sales & Marketing Senior Directors and product leads. The Senior Financial Analyst/Manager reports to the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and is based in the Company’s Monroe, New Jersey office on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop financial models and analyses to support partnership with BDI Sales & Marketing team Prepare monthly sales, gross margin and P&L reporting packages versus budget and prior year and preparation of variance explanationsCompile annual budget and quarterly forecasts of Sales, Cost of Sales, Gross Margin and overall Profit & Loss Statement Validate monthly activity for corporate management reporting Support the creation, distribution and maintenance of reporting toolsPerform analysis and data mining in SAP and in BW reporting toolSupport maintenance of key financial master data in SAP, including Cost Centers, Cost Elements, Internal Orders and WBS project codesProvide support to FP&A team members with various financial modeling, forecasting and reporting activities related to the Americas markets and entitiesAssist with the harmonization of processes, reporting and analyses for Americas markets and entitiesSpecial projects and ad-hoc analysesCANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONSKEY SELECTION CRITERIAExperienced Finance professional with seven-plus years of experience working in a product based company or professional services firm.Ability to prioritize tasks, analyses and projects with limited supervision Ability to work efficiently and independently with a high level of accuracy and productivityDemonstrated ability to ask probing questions and determine root causes of issuesExcellent written, oral and presentation skillsExperience with SAP, Hyperion, SmartView, BEX Analyzer and BW reporting environmentAdvanced skills in Excel Finance/Accounting background with MBA and/or CPA a plusDESIRED PERSONAL PROFILEA results-oriented, hands-on professional with a strong work-ethic who can operate effectively in a collaborative management environment with limited supervision and guidanceA “can-do” team player with a strong desire to continuously improve performance, service and processes and who demonstrates initiative to support and business partner and Finance colleagues A professional with excellent interpersonal and communications skills who can quickly build rapport, establish trust and develop effective working relationships with Finance colleagues, BDI Senior Director, Sales and Marketing and extended teamA proactive employee that seeks to help others and increase valueA forward-thinking person who considers long-term trends and broad business implications when determining approach or recommending actionsThe role is hybrid and in the Monroe, NJ office 3 days per week.
