BPOE Elks Lodge Coquille, OR is a small Private Club. We are a non-profit organization. Our focus is serving the community through charity.

*Greenskeeper Duties include maintaining greens, course, grounds, water system, and equipment, in good operating condition.

1. Maintain fairways, greens, tees, and rough areas, in order to make course playable and in compliance with USGA recommended heights.

2. From April through September all greens are mowed daily, weather permitting, and all tees are mowed 2-3 times per week.

3. Move cup placement 2 times per week. Use proper cup setting equipment.

4. Maintain and move tee markers as required to prevent undue damage to grass.

5. Maintain proper watering of greens, fairways and tees. Set-up and work with volunteer watering committee during summer months.

6. Maintenance of course watering system. Includes installing and removing river pump, inspection of lines from the river (repairing as needed), and monitoring pond for proper level.

7. Sprinkler system to be maintained during the watering season, including repairs and monitoring of effectiveness.

8. Maintain lodge watering system, and test for water purification as required.

9. All fairways are to be aerated twice annually. Greens are to be aerated and sanded once annually.

10. Maintain fairways, tees and greens by fertilizing at proper intervals.

11. Apply insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides, as needed. Must maintain and keep pesticide license current. Maintain and provide log of regulated applications as well as comply with any and all laws regarding storage, application and handling of pesticides, herbicides, insecticides and fungicides.

12. Work and supervise other employees within proper safety guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
