We are seeking a Real Estate Investment Lending Finance Analyst to join a growing company based in the Marietta area.

We do it by lending to house flippers, builders, and rental passive investors; and specializing in fast closing (typically less than a week). The company culture is informal, transparent, and service-driven. This is a very unique opportunity that gives you unusual exposure and training to real estate through investment deals.

You will bring your real estate investment, finance, and accounting knowledge to support clients and investors in their investment journey.

This is a unique opportunity to have a 360 view of a finance company.

• Half of the position is deal focus: deal analysis, valuation, risk assessment
• Half of the position is focus on controllership: accounting, investor relations, financial reporting balance sheet and cash analysis

Requirements

• Bachelors in real estate or finance/accounting or business or a real estate license. Will pay higher compensation for advanced education
• Attention to detail, passion for process, and excellent customer care.
• Prior experience with real estate investment and/or construction
• Prior experience with mortgages

We are looking for a team player to:

• Manage accounting, month end closing and interface with auditors
• Investor relations: prepare financial reporting to investors and answer their questions
• Implement and execute controls to ensure financials, systems and cash align
• Perform root cause analysis of disconnects between ledger and subledger, and implement fixes
• Origination and servicing of loans

Ideal Candidate/Skills Required

• Demonstrated experience in bridging financial books to operational system of record (ie- ERP)
• Experience in root cause analysis of an issue and develop process improvements to permanently fix the issue
• Keen interest in real estate
• Advanced Excel skills with advanced formulas and algorithms
• Strong teamwork and internal customer service
