Arts Coordinator 

Position Overview: The Arts Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the artistic and cultural programs of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley. Reporting to the Academic & Arts Manager, the Arts Coordinator is responsible forassisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of various arts-related initiatives that are designed to foster creativity, learning, and artistic expression for youth and teens.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with Youth Development Professionals and community partners to develop and enhance arts programs, including performing, digital, graphic and fine arts that cater to youth and teen members.

• Establishes arts programming, workshops, and activities that foster creativity, learning, and artistic expression for youth and teens. 

• Leads the planning and coordination of art exhibitions, performances, workshops, and cultural events for the organization.

• Recruits, and manages partners, instructors, volunteers and artists involved in the programs to ensure smooth program execution.

• Supports the cultivation and maintenance of relationships with local artists, cultural institutions, sponsors, and community partners.

• Collaborates with Data & Evaluation team to evaluate program success and identify areas for improvement. 

• Fosters a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages creativity, professional growth, and effective community-based educational practices.

• Assists in managing budgets for arts programs and events, tracking expenses and revenues.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED

• 1 years of programmatic experience

• Current Arizona Driver’s license

• Knowledge of the arts community, including familiarity with various artistic disciplines and trends.

• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

• Creativity and a passion for the arts, coupled with an understanding of youth development.
