** Driver - Part Time - $16 per hour**

* The typical hours are Monday to Friday with shifts that include 11:30am-8:00pm, 2:00pm-4:30pm and/or 4:30pm-8:30pm.

* This position is part time.

* Starting pay for this role is $16.00 per hour for those with a regular license, but we pay more for drivers with a CDL and passenger endorsement!

* Our job offers are contingent upon a post-offer screening process which includes, but is not limited to: a background check, child abuse and neglect screening, and drug screen.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire is the largest childcare provider in South Dakota serving 1,200 children from birth to 18 years of age daily. With programs and locations throughout Sioux Falls, Brandon, and Harrisburg, BGCSE is able to support parents throughout the Greater Sioux Falls area in guiding their children toward a fulfilling and meaningful future. * Work within the transportation schedule to pick up and drop off children throughout the Sioux Falls area.

* Safely transport children to and from the program.

* Ensure that the van and/or bus is in good operating conditions at all times.

* Maintain order and security on the van and/or bus while obeying all laws, regulations, and rules of conduct.

**Position Details:**

**Education and Experience Requirements:**

* Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be over the age of 21.

* Candidates with a CDL and passenger endorsement are highly preferred, but this is not required. We are willing to pay for the right fit to obtain a CDL.

* Previous experience working with young children is helpful, but not required.

**Skills and Knowledge Requirements:**

* Must be able to work well with children ages six to eighteen.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
