Position Summary: We are seeking an energetic and passionate Outcomes & Evaluation Coordinator to join our growing organization for a 12-month commitment as an AmeriCorps VISTA (the “domestic Peace Corps”). This program is a partnership between Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore and Maryland Out of School Time Network, a statewide youth development organization. Organization: Founded in 2009, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore is a non-profit organization serving young people, ages 6 to 18, at six Club locations in Baltimore city. Our approach reflects the knowledge, anchored in extensive research, that a quality after-school environment can support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of young people in important ways. Possess a personal vehicle and willing to travel to Club locations on occasion

Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or legal permanent resident alien of the United States
Satisfy the national service criminal history check
of the national sex-offender registry
state repository check (Maryland and state of residence),
and FBI fingerprint check
Criminal history checks will be initiated before the start of service; an individual will be ineligible if s/he is required to register on the National Sex Offender Registry, has been convicted of murder, or fails to disclose any previous conviction. Other convictions or pending charges will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in accordance with program policy
Job Duties: At Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore, our data is an essential element in our efforts to serve the young people who need us most. As Outcomes & Evaluations Coordinator, you will serve at the intersection of our Resource Development, Program, and Operations teams, managing all processes related to data collection and data management.
Evaluate existing data collection methods and develop new methods to track and use data for internal and external use; this will include assessing the process for merging data across the organization for maximum utilization.
Investigate new and innovative data collection, management, and analysis tools and champion their adoption.
Develop a dashboard to track and analyze data from across the organization, including KidsTrax, TraxSolutions, Donor Perfect, and QuickBooks, to increase organization’s internal and external communications, effectiveness, and impact on youth.
Manage the data in our KidsTrax system and work with Club Managers (staff) to assure accurate information is collected and inserted into the system in a timely manner.
Collaborate with Resource Development & Communications teams in the use of data to tell compelling stories about the organizations’ impact.
Work with the Finance and Administrative team to increase organizational capacity with a focus on onboarding new staff and establishing standard operating procedures for new Club locations.
Lead the organization’s successful participation in BGCA’s annual National Youth Outcomes Initiative (NYOI) by administering and interpreting survey data on Clubs’ effectiveness.
Advise on and implement new and revised strategies for data collection and management, especially around longitudinal data.
