Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is Hiring a Club Access Assistant-KIPP Sunshine Peak Academy Near Denver, CO

The Club Access Assistant is the first face that welcomes our Club members each day and monitors the front access door to the facility.

What you are good at:

  • Administration (at least 1 year of administration experience). You have experience at a Boys & Girls Club, school, or other similar environment in an administrative support role.
  • Basic Microsoft Office and database management skills to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the membership and attendance records, in addition to other types of custom reports using the database and other records.
  • Creative ways to engage with the youth and community. You work closely with volunteers, parents and the community to ensure the Club is an enriching, fun and safe environment.
  • Thinking on your feet. You like learning new things, and you can learn quickly. When things change - and they will - you go with the flow and are productive.
  • Creating positive and supportive relationships with youth.

  • A valid driver's license and ability to be insured under the company's insurance policy.
  • The successful candidate will primarily work indoors. Accordingly, the ability to use a variety of equipment including janitorial and office equipment is required.
  • The job requires the ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, reach, bend, and lift objects weighing in excess of 25 lbs.
  • Outdoor work and moderate physically demanding activities may be required on occasion.
  • The ability to read and write is necessary to complete reports, properly document programs, and utilize organizational data.

Status: Non-exempt, Hourly

Hourly Base Wage: 19.00

Hours: 20-29 Hours a week. M – F 2:00pm – 7:00 p.m., Hours will change to the day time during summer programming.
