 We are looking for a Club Coordinator to assist with overall daily operations of the Club.
 
Program Development and Implementation: 
Learn to assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of various programs and services tailored to meet the needs and interests of club members. 
Gain skills in promoting academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development among club members through program activities. 
Staff Management and Development: 
Receive training on how to support and guide club staff, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to effectively carry out their responsibilities. 
Learn techniques for providing constructive feedback and facilitating professional development opportunities for staff members. 
Budgeting and Financial Management: 
Understand the basics of managing club budgets and financial resources, member management, including maximizing available resources to support program delivery and organizational sustainability. 
Gain familiarity with financial operations such as budget allocation and monitoring expenses. 
Partnership and Community Engagement: 
Learn the importance of cultivating positive relationships with community partners, stakeholders, donors, and volunteers to enhance club programs and resources. 
Explore strategies for engaging with external entities to expand opportunities for youth served by the club. 
Family and Member Engagement: 
Develop skills in building positive relationships with club members and their families, including understanding their needs and promoting their active participation in club activities. 
Learn effective communication techniques to engage with members and their families in a supportive and inclusive manner. 
Safety and Risk Management: 
Gain knowledge of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and risk management practices to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of club members, staff, and visitors. 
Understand the importance of implementing and enforcing safety measures within the club environment. 
Data Collection and Evaluation: 
Learn to collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. 
Gain experience in making informed decisions based on data insights to enhance club services and outcomes. 
Advocacy and Public Relations: 
Understand the role of serving as an advocate and spokesperson for Boys & Girls Clubs, promoting awareness of the organization's mission and impact within the community. 
Gain exposure to effective communication and marketing strategies to enhance public relations efforts. 
Compliance and Reporting: 
Learn about applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies to ensure compliance in maintaining accurate records and documentation. 
Understand the importance of submitting required reports in a timely manner to meet regulatory requirements. 
Professional Development: 
Stay curious and proactive in learning about best practices, trends, and developments in youth development, nonprofit management, and related fields. 
Seek out opportunities for ongoing professional development to enhance leadership skills and effectiveness in the role. 
Crisis Management and Conflict Resolution
Learn techniques for effectively managing crises, conflicts, and challenging situations within the club environment. 
Develop communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills to navigate difficult scenarios with professionalism and empath. 
Role Modeling: Serve as a positive role model for club members and staff demonstrating integrity, empathy, respect, and responsibility in interactions and behaviors.

Qualifications

Possesses 3 to 4 years of experience effectively working with groups of children. 
Excellent communication skills, including patience, flexibility, and empathy. 
Maintains a strong awareness of safety protocols and procedures. 
Exhibits critical thinking abilities to address challenges and opportunities. 
Promotes teamwork and collaboration among staff and children. 
Acts as a positive role model and demonstrates leadership skills. 
Effectively manages time and delegates tasks as needed. 
Skilled in conflict resolution and strategic thinking. 
Inspires and motivates others toward shared goals.
