RECORDING STUDIO INSTRUCTOR (PART TIME)

How You Will Help UsMake a Difference - Do you have a passion for music? Are you experienced or have you received education in a recording studio? We are looking for a part time Recording Studio Instructor. As our recording studio person, you:

Will oversee the operations of the recording studio at our two traditional Club sites.
Teach and develop recording studio technology to our club members.
Create a fun and engaging studio experience for all our young students.
Get to work with both technical and non-technical club members.

What are Essential Job Requirements:

A candidate must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check in order to work for BGCMC.
This position is part time (2-7 pm).
Two years of working experience with Logic Pro or equivalent software/applications.
Intermediate to strong understanding of music theory and production techniques. Experience with studio and/or live productions, with mixing consoles, microphones, and digital audio workstations.
Basic experience with Final Cut Pro, iMovie, or other video-editing software is preferred but not required. Aptitude and willingness to learn this type of applications is a must.
Experience with a variety of audio production types: studio recording/mixing (multiple genres), live music, podcasting and spoken word.
Working knowledge of Slate Digital products (Raven, Virtual Microphone System and related.)
College degree in a related field or equivalent experience
A minimum of two years of work-related experience or knowledge is required.
Certifications and credentials in respective skill-based activity highly preferred
CPR and First Aid Certifications are preferred.
Valid State Driver’s License to commute between both traditional clubs.
Experience in working with children and knowledge of youth development.
Experience and ability in creating interactive musical activities.
General knowledge of audio and digital equipment in a recording studio setting
Valid driver’s license
Required to stand, walk, and sit.
Able to input, store, process, and output information on a (computer) and other office equipment.
Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds during a standard 4- or 8-hour shift.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Perform Safety-sensitive culture requiring a constant state of alertness.
The noise level in the work environment is high due to work is conducted in a Club setting, indoor/outdoor.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $17.00
