Duties:
- Plan and implement engaging and educational activities for youth in various areas such as sports, theater, and arts
- Provide guidance and support to students in their personal and academic development
- Assist with homework completion and provide tutoring as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
- Manage student behavior and maintain a safe and structured setting
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a comprehensive youth development program
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and incidents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or youth in a professional setting, such as sports coaching, daycare, or classroom management preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff members
- Ability to educate and inspire students through creative and engaging activities
- Experience in behavior management techniques and conflict resolution strategies preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred
