Boys and Girls Club-Desert Sage is Hiring a Youth Development Professional Near Boise, ID

Join our team for an exciting, rewarding, and engaging work experience you'll never forget. We are currently hiring for our school year program with after school hours.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ensure safety of youth. Plan and organize daily activities and programs in all 5 Core Program Areas. Help Club members to make new friends and provide opportunities for fun and constructive use of their time before school, after school and during the summer months. Be a positive role model!

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):

· Member Safety and Supervision

· Membership Relationship Building

· Structured Youth Engagement

· Light cleaning up after activities

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED:

· A minimum of one year of prior work or volunteer experience in a work setting

· Strong communication skills

· Youth activity leadership skills and positive mentor

· Work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $14.00 per hour

Morning only positions $20.00

Split shifts $15

Benefits:

Schedule:

· After school- up to 19 hours per week

· 3.5 – 4 hour shift

· Day shift – No school days

· Monday to Friday

· No weekends

Before school (10 hours per week)

*7am-9am

*$20.00 ph/hr

Monday to Friday

No weekends

Split shift

Can work some mornings shifts and afterschool shifts up to 12 to 27 hours available

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
