Overview The VIP Concierge Specialist is responsible for guests that are identified as Loyalty Club Members which is based on recentness, frequency and monetary spend.
These loyal guests are provided service by a personal concierge. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Boyne Resorts and the community of Big Sky and Southwest Montana and Greater Yellowstone Region.
Loyalty Club Members expect an elevated level of personal service before, during and after their visits to Big Sky. They expect consistency and professionalism in all communications and it is imperative that the ideal candidate has a strong ability to create ongoing relationships with clients as well as internal departments and local business partners.
Responsibilities Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Department and LCM Reservation Specialist in the interest of developing the LCM program benefits and streamline communication Establishing benefits & amenities with various departments annually during pre-winter months Develop unique gift basket design and products for first stay of the season Provide reports and updates on a weekly basis to the Lodging Division, and communicate special needs for VIP guests Maintaining professional communication in a timely manner as outlined through SalesForce Develop thorough knowledge of the Boyne Rewards Program Signature Collection Personal Concierge responsibilities Although different than an LCM, the properties these guest seek come with a price tag that allows them access to a personal concierge.
Most communication is done by email and / or phone. Communication is initiated by a personal concierge before, during and after their stay.
Concierge Support (Off-Season) Work with the Concierge Manager during fall off-season. This includes answering emails and phone messages for all Resort guests.
Offer Vacation Planning and itinerary building. Work scheduled Concierge Desk shifts. Technical skills using the following programs : RTP, Springer-Miller, Alice, Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office Online Version Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive hospitality experience or education Proficient with hospitality software, computers, and technology and ability to learn new software systems and programs.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel required. Must be friendly, knowledgeable, professional and possess excellent interpersonal skills Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, organization, detail oriented, a sense of urgency, critical thinking and planning and problem-solving skills.
Candidate must maintain a drive for excellence and consistent strong performance. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at once and adapt to changing situations.
Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment. Motivated and a self-starter Ability to work independently and efficiently on a flexible schedule including days / evenings / weekends / holidays Ability to adapt to the seasonal booking and peak VIP seasons.
Generally this means that planning and preparation is prioritized from September-November, which peak guest visitation happening during the winter months.
April June are typically quieter periods and when longer vacations and time off is expected to be taken. This position qualifies as a Full Time Variable Hours role.
