We are a thriving, successful law firm with nine offices located throughout Indiana, looking for an ambitious, competent paralegal who can hit the ground running! You could work out of one of our ten office locations in Indiana or work remotely if you live close enough to appear in the office for appointments or as needed; working fully-remotely is also a possibility for the right candidate .
It is our belief that the paralegals at our Firm shouldn’t be burdened with the onslaught of mundane administrative tasks that tend to crop up in a law office (screening new clients, opening new files, answering phones). We allow our firm’s paralegals to truly focus on performing actual paralegal duties each day. We make this happen by having an amazing support staff in place with differentiated roles and providing the world-class technology, software, and systems to make our paralegals’ jobs easier to accomplish and more efficient to perform in our paperless office.
We are seeking a paralegal with at least five years of experience. Prior experience in family law, criminal law, and/or estate planning is a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook/365, and Excel, and have familiarity with online billing and client management software, generally. PracticePanther or NetDocs experience is a plus, but not required. Duties will include preparation of pleadings, letters, discovery requests, discovery responses and exhibits, e-filing, scheduling appointments and depositions, general client communication, organization of files, basic strategic planning, hearing and trial preparation, and proactively moving cases forward. Congenial and close-knit office in a professional environment where growth is encouraged. Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Paid vacation and PTO days.
