WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR OUR HEATING AND COOLING DISPATCHER?

This HVAC dispatching position typically works at our office between 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday. The schedule can vary during our busy season.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

As a Heating and Cooling Dispatcher for our HVAC company, you're an essential part of our daily operations. Your responsibilities include managing schedules and dispatching technicians, resolving conflicts with customers, and prioritizing calls based on customer and operational needs. You also order parts for service appointments, process warranties, and maintain accurate customer databases.

In addition to these critical tasks, you also perform administrative duties to help ensure the overall efficiency of our company. As a service-oriented professional, you participate in company-sponsored training classes, maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates, and keep constant communication with technicians and clients if any appointments are delayed. You're flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances, and you take pride in knowing that you play a key role in keeping the lines of communication between our field team and clients open.

IS THIS THE PERFECT DISPATCHING JOB FOR YOU?

• 2 years of dispatching experience in the HVAC industry
• High school diploma OR equivalent
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work extended hours, nights, and weekends
• Ability to read a map and geographical knowledge of our service area
