Our stores, on average, are about 1500 square feet and sell products ranging from camping equipment and supplies to Scout badges and gifts. We pack a lot into a small store including great customer service.
Position: Part-time Sales Associate
Compensation: $13.50/hour
Position location: Apopka, FL
The Boy Scouts of America, Supply Division has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated, Sales Associate in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Job Overview: Contributes to the successful daily operation of the Central Florida Scout Shop by delivering an exceptional customer experience, transacting sales, accurate and on-time submission of timekeeping records, receiving orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean customer friendly environment.
The individual in this position:
- Provides excellent customer service in the store and on the phone.
- Processes customer orders through the POS system.
- Maintains a stocked, organized, and clean store.
- Safeguards BSA monies and merchandise.
Qualifications/ Experience:
- Retail experience preferred
- Knowledge of Scouting Program preferred but not necessary
- Good Communication Skills
