**ABOUT THE POSITION**
***This position is located in Southern California, specifically in Los Angelas. Only candidates who currently are a resident of this area or candidates who are willing to relocated to this area will be considered.***
The **Area Sales Coordinator** plays an supporting/training role within Boxed Water; helping to establish the brand in an assigned territory and assisting with the Sales and Marketing functions. This is a hybrid position focused on sales delivery, event/account maintenance, customer service support, and marketing support. The ideal candidate will understand our brand values, and sales process.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
* Identify, prospect, mine and generate new leads. Ask qualifying questions that will determine volumes, route-to-market options, and decision-makers.
* Shadow sales lead developing sales skills; both pitching and retail math, route-to-market.
* Support grocery channel as needed; merchandising to maintain sell-thru and position.
* Coordinate Boxed Water participation in events plan out logistics, schedule timings, support materials, and workforce. Arrange product drops and deliveries either direct or through BW team. Focus on high-profile locations such as corporate campuses, boutique hotels, corporate partners, and select retailers.
* Organize and track prospecting of new accounts with the oversight of management.
* Maintain relationships with event partners for future events and needs.
* Work collaboratively with Boxed Water marketing and regional sales teams to support brand efforts that translate to localized objectives and priorities.
* Support the storage and inventory of the Boxed Water product and Marketing materials.
* Assist in customer service inquiries when needed. Craft responses in a brand-consistent, professional manner.
* Maintain established processes for documenting and tracking in-field efforts.
* Communicate efforts and provide monthly recaps to Boxed Water HQ, regional, and national sales team members.
* Organize, coordinate, and deliver local product deliveries as needed.
* Job functions may require working some nights and weekends.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
* Bachelors degree in Sales, or Marketing; or equivalent years of experience
* Two or more years of relevant experience in consumer sales, field marketing, or retail marketing
* Understanding of both marketing and sales fundamentals
* Strong understanding of sustainability and a lifestyle associated with Boxed Water
* Ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders and teams
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities and objectives
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights and weekends and some travel
* Extremely organized, dependable, and self-motivated
* Able to work independently and capable of dealing with a wide range of personalities
* Strong computer skills specifically knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, experience with internet research and social media
* Ability to lift 40lbs
