Title: GNMSS Urology Technician Bi-weekly Part time 

Reporting Relationship: Clinic Manager and Urology and GNMSS Providers 

General Summary of Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated Urology Technician to join our Urology Department. The successful candidate will assist in performing urology procedures and ensuring efficient and safe patient care. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who is committed to patient comfort and the smooth operation of the urology service.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in setting up and preparing for cystoscopy, vasectomy, testopel and other urology procedures in the clinic setting.
- Maintain and decontaminate instruments and equipment.
- Assist urologists during Urology procedures by handling instruments, adjusting equipment, and providing real-time support as needed.
- Monitor and ensure the comfort and safety of patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Perform basic patient care duties, including but not limited to, patient positioning and explaining procedure steps to patients.
- Manage and document procedural steps and patient data in the medical records system.
- Stock and manage supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are available and in good condition.

- Adhere to all hospital protocols and guidelines concerning hygiene, safety, and patient confidentiality.
- Assist in the training of new staff on equipment and procedure protocols.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
