The Direct Loan Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Direct Loan Program. In carrying out this duty, the Coordinator will:

• Prepare and disseminate all direct loan entrance and exit interviews.
• Manage data entry for direct loan originations.
• Certify eligibility for direct loan recipients
• Counsel prospective students and parents on direct loan matters.
• Act as a liaison between external agencies and the University in direct loan matters.
• Prepare and deliver loan presentations.
• Manage promissory note and award disbursement process.
• Assist with registration.
• Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum of two (2) years professional experience in financial aid required, preferably in loan management.

Knowledgeable of federal and state financial aid regulations in general and direct loan polices and procedures specifically. Knowledge of personal computer software and student information systems required.
