Overview

Technical Writer (ATG-2023-19665):

Bowhead seeks a Technical Writer who will work as part of a multi-disciplined team generating solutions for Department of Defense and other government customers. The team's focus is on designing, analyzing, producing, testing and delivering innovative prototypes. 

Responsibilities

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Edit, format, and maintain program documentation and produce a program document guide;
• Provide master planning, studies, and project development support;
• Work with teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of scientific and technical information, documentation content, and requirements.
• Work with internal teams to obtain documentation requirements.
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

•  Requires BS degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or Business
•  4 plus years (4 ) professional experience
•  PowerPoint, Visio, developing Operational View (OV) diagrams and other types of programmatic graphics, or other similar skills.
•  Must be able to multi-task, manage priorities and work independently with little direction
•  Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
•  Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
