Overview

Bowhead is looking for a Senior Computer Netowrk Artchiectto support the PMA 268 contract (Proposal) at Patuxent River, MD 

Responsibilities

• Design and implement computer and information networks, such as LAN, Wide Area Networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures.
• Design network and computer security measures.
• Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.

Qualifications

• Required: MA/MS degree. 
• Required: ten (10) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
• Allowable Substitutions: Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a master’s degree. OR Associate degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Master’s Degree. OR Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a master’s degree.
• Must be able to process a variety of information, evaluate costs and benefits, and solve complex problems.
• Desired: At least four (4) years of enterprise architecture experience.
• Experience creating Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) artifacts and mapping data requirements to Logistics Information Technology systems.
• Experience with NMCI network setups, Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) Baseline, Portable Electronic Maintenance Aides (PEMAs), and the NAVAIR Programs of Record.
• Must posess communication skills, writing skills and be detail oriented.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 5 to 10 pounds 
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
