About The Role:
At Bowery, our Quality Team is responsible for implementing and verifying the quality monitoring system ensuring the facility is producing safe quality products. As a Quality Supervisor, you'll implement a quality monitoring system, train and manage quality technicians, and report quality KPI's and issues to site leadership teams and to regional quality manager.
What You'll Do:
    • Manage a team Quality Technicians
    • Verify Quality Technicians monitoring procedures are executed correctly
    • Attend Site Leadership Meetings
    • Analyze site quality data and report trends
    • Participate in weekly GEMBA walks
    • Implement corrective actions via non conformance findings from Internal and External Auditing
    • Work with farm leadership team members to conduct RCA activities, monitor farm KPI's, and work towards continuous improvement activities.

Who You Are:
    • You have a basic knowledgeable of Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), Safe Quality Foods Primary Plant Code (SQF), and other relevant strategies
    • You will have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
    • You demonstrate strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; and are able to effectively communicate to large groups giving verbal and visual presentations
    • You understand how to drive continuous improvement initiatives & culture
    • You possess excellent analytical, problem solving, and superior management skills
    • You are capable of strong mentoring and coaching to a team with diverse levels of expertise
    • You have the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
    • You are a self starter and should be able to work independently, with and without an itemized task list
    • You will be able to work in the cold room (sub 37 degrees) for short and extended periods of time (protective equipment provided)
    • You have the ability to bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head.
