Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) refers to a range of accounting and financial services provided by Bowers. These services include outsourced CFO advisory to include but not limited to; budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning; financial statement preparation; full-service bookkeeping; vendor bill processing and payment; customer invoicing; payroll processing and tax reporting; sales tax preparation. Successful candidates will have a desire to learn and develop their career, while making a difference for their clients Job SummaryIn this role, you will be a member of our CAAS group accountable for providing Senior Accountant level accounting services including processing payables and receivable, and various other accounting operations for assigned clients. Requirements
Oversee and manage responsibilities of assigned CAAS transitional staff
Oversee timely efficiently processing and accurate payment of vendor invoices
Oversee accounts receivable invoices and applications of payments
Manage payroll processing and reporting
Prepare and file sales tax returns
Perform accounting system catch-ups and clean-ups
Qualifications
BS degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
2 years of experience in accounting with 1 year of supervisory experience
Experience with QuickBooks preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Power Point
Excellent communicator
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Able to manage workflow
Commitment to excellence and high standards
