Bow Street Beverage is hiring dedicated, reliable team members for our container recycling facility. You’ll work in a facility built to handle the recycling of bottles and cans returned from restaurants and bars throughout our state. We operate Monday - Saturday 10:00am-8pm, and offer flexible scheduling within that period. Position Responsibilities

Assist with the receipt and processing of containers returned by delivery trucks
Receive, clean, and stack beverage container totes using both manual and power equipment
Operate machinery designed to sort, count, and compact empty beverage containers
Clean and maintain sorting and compaction machinery
Maintain facility cleanliness and organization
Put safety first using required PPE and following established safety guidelines throughout shift
Arrive to the facility on time and ready to work
Drive to accounts for bottle pick up on occasion
Be passionate about teamwork and organization
Perform other duties as assigned

Skills And Experience

Attention to detail
Communication skills, both verbal and written, sufficient to perform the job and communicate mechanical maintenance needs
Hand / eye coordination
High school diploma or equivalent education is preferred
Work experience in a warehouse or production environment is preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in a physical, fast-paced environment
Safely work around machinery and conveyors
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to use computers and other technical systems required to perform job functions
Perform repetitive grasping, pinching, squeezing and hand/arm motions
Stand and walk 100% of the time
Frequent bending, reaching, grasping & lifting items at or above waist level
Ability to lift to 70 pounds regularly, including shoulder level and overhead lifting, and up to 100 pounds occasionally
