Job DescriptionA leading trade show booth design company in Las Vegas, CA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their project management team! This role involves managing 10-15 projects per month, potentially up to 25-30 during busier periods, with varying cycles. You'll plan, execute, and oversee every aspect of custom trade show booth projects from concept to completion. Collaborating closely with clients, production staff, and external vendors, you'll ensure project success at every stage. They are looking for a strong leader with a background in project management, particularly in the design and build industry, who can inspire collaboration within the team and demonstrate exceptional follow-through. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that partners with top brands worldwide, where you'll play a key role in creating award-winning, innovative, and customized booths for major trade shows!
Salary Range: $70, 000 - $80, 000 / year DOE
Project Manager Requirements
  • 3-5 years of project management experience within the design and build industry (or related industry)
  • Experience in trade shows, exhibits, or related fields like construction or furniture is required
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Strong leadership skills
  • The ability to multitask and adapt priorities to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office and capable of learning new software (Exhibit Force)
Project Manager Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee 10-15 projects per month, managing potentially 25-30 at a time, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, adjusting as needed for project completion and success
  • Act as the primary communication link between internal teams and external vendors, managing expectations and updates
  • Lead and manage contractors and vendors on-site, ensuring project specifications are met
  • Implement quality control processes for consistency in client vision from line drawing to color rendering and final execution
  • Utilize Exhibit Force software for detailed project tracking and management
  • Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure all materials, hardware, and project essentials are prepared for each project
  • Create QC books for projects, document changes, and maintain accurate project documentation
  • Oversee the packing of projects, ensuring setup prints and all necessary materials are included
  • Communicate project schedules, updates, and important information to stakeholders
  • Meet with project supervisors to review job details, ensuring readiness for the show
  • Handle purchasing of items needed for each project, ensuring availability of furniture, TVs, cleaning supplies, and hardware
  • Travel for emergencies to oversee project setups, ensuring projects meet client and company standards
