California Lemon Law Center is boutique consumer litigation firm seeking a capable bilingual (Armenian and English) paralegal/legal assistant for litigation matters. Armenian speaking is a MUST. .

Candidate requirements:

1. Attention to detail and organization are key.

2. Familiarity with standard business software including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

3. Experience with creating and formatting wide variety of litigation documents including discovery demands and responses, pleadings, motion papers, declarations, and exhibits. Experience filing in state and federal court (including e-filing) preferred.

4. Responsible for helping prepare for pre-litigation demands, depositions and trials, organizing and managing voluminous case documents, creating and formatting pleadings and correspondence, and preparing and filing documents in state and federal courts.

5. Responsible for handling calendar, scheduling and incoming calls.

6. Prepare daily TO DO LISTS, manage follow-ups and determine which items can be handled directly by the assistant.

7. Maintain spreadsheets, charts and summaries.

8. Organize and update hard copy and electronic files, ensuring all relevant documents are quickly accessible.
