Position: Brand Ambassador
PT hourly ( tips) role with day shift hours. Hours/days are flexible. Events are Wednesday – Saturday (no Sunday-Tuesday hours are available). Minimum of 3 days and up to 5/wk.

Where we are…
Bourbon Barrel Foods is located east of downtown in historic Butchertown inside the Butchertown Market Building. This location is home to our manufacturing, shipping and corporate offices. It also features our brand new event space as well as home to our tour and tastings.
What we’re looking for…
We are looking for an enthusiastic brand ambassador to lead our facility tours and product tastings. The ideal candidate is passionate about artisanal products, food, bourbon, the city of Louisville, and the state of Kentucky. The brand ambassador should have a firm understanding of hospitality and service, the difference between them and how they complement each other. The brand ambassador will work closely with the Founder and President of Bourbon Barrel Foods, and the event coordinator to execute the tour of the world's first Micro-brewed soy sauce and lead the tasting afterwards. We envision the ideal candidate will tell the story of Bourbon Barrel Foods, Bourbon Country, the bourbon scene in Louisville and BBF’s role in the experience that tourists are here to see.
Our new 2400 square foot event space will serve as a tasting room for our products, the start and stop of our factory tour, as well as events for businesses that are entertaining, local tour companies, and any individuals interested in learning more about Bourbon Barrel Foods.
What you will be doing…
- Providing a unique tour experience
- Leading tastings of our products and spices
- Engaging guests at all points of service
- Greeting and checking in guests
- Knowledge of our products and how to sell them
Who you are…
It’s important you are outgoing and experienced as a leader. You must have a passion for providing a unique experience as well as interpersonal skills that will help you engage with customers. You will be on the front line of Bourbon Barrel Foods so you will need to present yourself professionally and courteously. You should be willing to learn and not afraid to fail or try new things and you should be able to think on your feet!
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- 1 years of experience in the service/tourism, retail, or hospitality industries is strongly preferred.
- This is a part-time role with day shift hours. Hours/days are flexible. Events are Wednesday – Saturday (no Sunday-Tuesday hours are available).
