Boundless Care Inc. is Hiring a Driver/Caregiver (Hybrid) Near San Jose, CA

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transporter and Caregiver (Hybrid) to join our team. You will provide for the transportation of clients to and from hospitals, nursing and rehabilitation facilities, dialysis centers, medical offices, private residences, airports, outings, and other events. Additionally, there will be times when you will be working as a Caregiver giving service to our care recipients who are mostly kids. To achieve success in this role, the candidate must be engaging, child-focused, and have the willingness to work a flexible schedule. Furthermore, you will be responsible for all passengers and clients reaching their destinations safely and promptly and must have the ability to have a positive and productive manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operating the vehicle in a safe manner including parking the vehicle and pulling into/out of temporary loading/unloading areas.
  • Assisting clients in getting onto the vehicle and safely inside their respective destinations.
  • Utilizing smart mobile technology to interact with dispatching staff to obtain client trip schedules, and report the time of passenger pick-ups and drop-offs, as well as any changes to schedule or traffic delays. Notifying the client, if necessary, of late arrivals.
  • Reporting any incidents or accidents to the supervisor.
  • Operating wheelchair lifts and securing wheelchairs and stretchers in the vehicle.
  • Completing daily vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.
  • Promoting our services by handing out our flyers to our private clients.
  • Providing customized and personalized Childcare or Senior Care for their children in their homes.
  • Preparing and serving meals.
  • Administering one-on-one care and meeting the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of the children. Creates educational and fun activities. Develop and monitor schedules to ensure children have enough rest, physical activity, and play.
  • Administering first-aid or CPR to children when needed.
  • Assisting children, individually or in groups with lesson projects and homework.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Transporting children to and from activities, and grocery shops for the children, and planning the children’s daily schedule.
  • May include additional household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and pet care.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
  • Must have childcare experience, including infant care.
  • Proficient knowledge of home safety and first aid.
  • Must possess a valid state-issued, non-expired driver’s license, and provide a current 3-year DMV printout.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and criminal background investigation.
  • Ability to understand and operate smart mobile technology, GPS applications, 2-way radios, and cell phones.
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Good moral character and pleasant disposition.
  • Physically fit, energetic, active, and dexterous.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary.
Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week.
