Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Store Clerk to join our team. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking and ensuring accurate transactions at the cash register. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products or answering their inquiries
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Stock shelves and ensure that products are neatly displayed
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns or complaints
- Follow company policies and procedures for opening and closing the store
- Collaborate with the store manager to implement promotional activities

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds

- Budgeting: Ability to manage financial resources effectively.
- Recruiting: Knowledge of recruitment strategies and ability to attract qualified candidates.
- Stock Management: Experience in managing inventory levels and ensuring product availability.
- Cash Register Operation: Proficiency in operating cash registers and processing transactions accurately.
- Supervising: Ability to oversee and guide the work of other employees.
- Retail Management: Understanding of retail operations, including sales techniques, merchandising, and customer service.
- Pricing: Knowledge of pricing strategies and ability to set competitive prices for products.
- Selling: Strong sales skills to promote products and upsell to customers.
- POS (Point of Sale) Systems: Familiarity with computer-based systems used for sales transactions.
- Interviewing: Ability to conduct effective interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
