SUMMARY:

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently seeking Information Technology (IT) professionals to join our team as a System IPT / Help Desk Amin! This position will work full-time 40 hours per week on Monday through Friday. This is benefit eligible and will enjoy evenings, weekends, and major holiday's off.

The System IPT / Help desk admin actively participates in moderate to advanced technical projects and system builds/configurations. This role is also responsible for the configuration and support of all company workstations, laptops, tablets, peripherals, network hardware and telecommunications systems. Communicates effectively with other areas and participates in the continual improvement of IT operations by collaborating with IT team members on support protocols, documentation and participation in end-user training needs. Performs advanced level system administration tasks on varied platforms/environments.

Job Duties:

  • Responds to Tier 1 and Tier 2 level Helpdesk requests with hardware, software, laptops, tablets and peripherals.
  • Assists with PBX requests. This would entail helping clients for any 3cx related issues
  • Provides trouble-shooting expertise with EHR software and basic desktop hardware
  • Maintains hardware and software inventory for all BMC computers, tablets, laptops and servers. Participates as a team-member for the configuration and installation of workstation and server operating systems and applications.
  • Performs technical review and analysis recommending technology solutions and direction as needed.
  • Provides support for printing issues.
  • Performs on-call rotations based on the needs of the medical center.
  • Works closely with other IT members on various projects including patching, network expansion, network routing and switching, telephony, infrastructure, etc.
Required Experience:


Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be a self-starter able to prioritize and execute tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently within a small team.
  • Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions when problem solving.
  • Must be able to manage constantly changing priorities of a highly complex nature.
  • Must possess advanced level knowledge and understanding of Microsoft operating systems, back-office solutions and tools.
  • Working knowledge of Cisco networking, VMWare, Citrix and SAN technologies strongly desired.
  • Must possessexcellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate patience and flexibility when responding to end-user needs and requests.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and/or education.

Experience:

  • Must have 2-3 years’ experience analyzing, planning and supporting systems in a large networked environment, preferred. IT experience in a healthcare setting, highly desired.

Salary Range:

  • $55,000 - $75,000 annually; depending on experience.
