Summary:

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking new and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Allergy team! This position works part-time, 27 hours per week, Monday - Wednesday, working three (3) 9 hour days.


Job Perks:

  • Part-time employees are eligible for medical / dental / vision, company-paid life insurance, voluntary benefits, RTD EcoPass, 401(k), and holiday pay (if regularly scheduled to work on an observed holiday).
  • Day shift schedules are Monday through Friday. There are occasional voluntary four (4) hour shifts on Saturday mornings from 8 am - 12 pm for several primary clinics (Family Medicine and Pediatrics).
  • Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics.

Job Duties:

  • Provides comprehensive professional nursing care to individuals and/or families acting as the patient’s advocate, facilitator, and educator.
  • Recognizes, evaluates, and responds to emergency or unusual situations in the clinic, using nursing judgment to ensure medical care.
  • Assists the patient and/or instructs the patient in preparation for the provider’s examination and/or specific treatment.
  • Prepares examination/treatment rooms for provider’s use by ensuring that appropriate supplies, equipment and instruments are available and ready on a daily basis. Maintains examination/treatment rooms in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Assists the provider with examination by anticipating needs for instruments and supplies. (e.g., minor surgery, pelvic examinations, diagnostic procedures, etc.)
Required Experience:
  • Must be able to recognize and identify patient’s symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in course of action.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of accredited nursing program. Current RN licensure by the State of Colorado.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years’ nursing experience in a medical office, clinic or hospital, preferred.
Salary Range:
  • $29.50 - $37.50/hour; depending on experience
Location:
  • This position will work out of the Boulder and Louisville, CO Allergy clinics.
