Boulder Imaging is seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician to join our talented team and growth! As a key member of the newly established Global Supply Chain department, you will work with the production and service repair teams to ensure that systems and components are built per the design specifications. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repair of components returned from field service.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot problems with electronic assemblies, PCB’s and cables and make necessary repairs.
• Develop work instructions for the troubleshooting and repair of system components.
• Develop assembly process documentation as necessary.
• Support production through building cables, sub-assemblies and full systems.
• Work with engineering team members to develop, set-up and execute testing of systems and components as necessary to evaluate performance or identify root cause of issues.
• Maintain production and service records as necessary to document work following company standard operating procedures.
• Support production and return service as required.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Skilled at soldering and assembly of precision electronics including assembly and repair of PCB’s and custom wiring harnesses.
• Experience with SMD and Through hole soldering.
• Reflow soldering.
• Ability to operate standard electronic service tools including soldering stations, multimeters, wire crimping tools and other necessary hand tools.
• Familiar with embedded systems how to connect, diagnose and make changes.
• Ability to operate a oscilloscope and logic analyzer .
• Problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and devise solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of circuitry and wiring with the ability to interpret diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge and experience with ESD controls and risk mitigations.
• Strong written communication skills to develop and complete easy to understand reports.
• Oral communication skills and interpersonal abilities to function effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Familiarity with Python and C .
• Familiarity with RMA/QA documentation for maintain device and service records.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for transferring of material.High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate degree in electronics technology or equivalent.
• Certification to IPC J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience.

Salary Range: $25.00 - $35.00/hour
