TENANT SERVICES JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Tenant Services
JOB SUMMARY: Develop, coordinate and implement tenant activities/events. Lead large and small group activities/events. Encourage community participation by tenants in activities providing physical, social, intellectual and spiritual development with an opportunity to use individual talents and skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Degree. Prior work with the elderly is preferred to be hired for this job; other pertinent experience includes and school, hospice, day care, residential care facility or Dementia facility.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Primary responsibilities will be conducted in clean, well-lit, climate controlled areas such as client rooms, hallways, work rooms, client dining area and meeting rooms. The noise is usually moderate. Exposure to cleaning supplies and building equipment. Exposure to body fluids, infection, odors, illness and behavior of tenants. Some travel to meetings and seminars may be required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear; feel or smell.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move supplies, equipment, and materials weighing approximately 35-40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance and depth perception, the ability to adjust focus.
Must have emotional stability needed to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
TECHNOLOGY: Must have knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
