We are the only dine-in provider of full High Tea service in the Reno Tahoe area. ```Overview```

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Front of House Associate and Tea Server to join our team. You will be the customer facing front of our shop and will be responsible for a multitude of different tasks including helping pack desserts or chocolates, serving full high tea, making espresso beverages etc.. This is a fun, multifaceted position where you will be part of a highly motivated and passionate team in a growing business. Pay is $13/hr plus tips and Hours are somewhat flexible but will require availability on days when we provide our High Tea.

```Responsibilities```

- Assist customers and charge for sales including coffee/tea beverages, chocolates, desserts, packaged confections, tea service, etc.

- Package Items for retail

- Refill FOH stock items (coffee cups, chocolate boxes, ribbons, etc.) and ensure that all items are well organized and displayed and properly labeled

- Provide Table Service for our High Tea on scheduled days and for private parties.

- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and understanding of all retail and tea menu items.

- Bussing Tables, assisting with dishes, and routine cleaning of FOH items (espresso machine, shelves, rinse sink etc.)

- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and bathroom, including sweeping and mopping floors as necessary

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guests' needs and inquiries

```Requirements```

- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required

- Must be 21 or older in order to serve alcoholic beverages

- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor

- Strong attention to detail while still maintaining a sense of urgency and efficiency

- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems and/or Square POS is an advantage

- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
