Bothwell Regional Health Center is Hiring a RN, Women's Health Department , 7p-7a, Every other Weekend, 72 hours per pay period, Near Sedalia, MO

Overview

The RN / GN must have the skill and knowledge to provide population specific care. He/She must have the ability to assess, evaluate, identify, and interpret the requirement and needs of the patients and perform based on those findings. 

The RN / GN reports directly to Charge Nurse/Supervisor/Nurse Manager

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for the unit by making staffing decisions in concert with supervisor, labor and delivery, nursery and women’s health.
  • Is accountable for and is able to organize, prioritize and make appropriate patient assignments.
  • Holds self and other staff members accountable and exhibits responsibility for work performance and continuous improvement of patient care in his/her work area and throughout the hospital.
  • Ensures self-compliance with professional, regulatory and government standards of care.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge of needs and tasks for Women’s Health and Labor and Delivery (including outpatients)
  • Ensures that she/he and the staff for whom they are responsible, satisfactorily complete clinical procedures, documentation, and appropriate teaching for patients in the department

    • Qualifications

    Education

    • RN graduate of Accredited School of Nursing

    Licensure/Certification

    • Must have valid, current license by the Missouri State Board of Nursing
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required

    Work Experience

    • Successful completion of hospital orientation
