Boston University School of Law is hiring a part-time adjunct instructor to teach the Law School’s Compassionate Release Practicum and seminar in the Fall of 2024. In the Compassionate Release Practicum, law students under faculty supervision engage in direct representation of persons who are incarcerated and not otherwise entitled to appointed counsel. They also participate in projects related to reform of avenues for compassionate release in Massachusetts. The instructor will teach the course’s one semester seminar and supervise students. In addition to ongoing projects, the instructor will have the freedom to identify and undertake new projects, in consultation with the BU Law Associate Dean for Experiential Education.
