Boston Sightseeing is an exciting new company to New England that offers double-decker bus sightseeing tours to locals and tourists alike. We are looking for professional, experienced, and customer-focused Sightseeing Tour Bus Drivers to join our team. As a Sightseeing Tour Bus Driver, you will be responsible for driving our sightseeing tour buses to various destinations in Boston along the historic Freedom Trail.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a sightseeing tour bus to transport passengers to various destinations in Boston.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the tour, following all traffic laws and company policies
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the tour bus
- Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure proper maintenance and report any issues to the maintenance team
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with passenger endorsement
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bus driver or similar position
- Knowledge of Boston's landmarks, history, and culture is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time
- Must pass a background check and drug test
