Role
The Technology Coordinator will directly support by providing on the ground data and technological support for UP Academy Dorchester. The Technology Coordinator will work to solve daily IT issues while at the same time partnering with schools and the district to push forward their tech initiatives. This individual will report to the Director of Technology.

Specific Responsibilities

• Assist in the set-up and deployment of all staff and classroom technology equipment
• Perform regular maintenance on staff laptops and classroom technology as defined by network technology standards
• Oversee computer-based testing, including configuring and managing large-scale Chromebook deployments
• Resolve requests for help on the various apps used by teachers, including Deanslist, Google Classroom and other Student Information Systems, and effectively escalate complex requests
• Oversee the network's email system and perform regular maintenance as needed
• Work with the technology team to support improvements to and maintenance of the network's shared server system
• Maintain an up to date inventory of all technology hardware across the network
• Maintain the network's ticketing and work order system
• Liaise with district technology personnel as needed, especially on issues related to wireless performance and student computers or learning labs
• Support the technology team and school leaders in developing and implementing long-term technology projects and in providing training to teachers and staff

Qualifications

• A strong belief in UP Education Network's core values: Students, Community, Humility, Resilience, and Humor
• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Current authorization to work in the United States - A candidate must have such authorization by his or her first day of employment

Your salary is commensurate with experience; UP Academy follows the salary scales of each UP Academy's host school district.
